Designed by Moon Mayoras, Eisenhower Medical Center’s Walter and Leonore Annenberg Pavilion was exhibited in the 2009 Architecture for Health Showcase at the PDC Summit in Phoenix, Arizona from March 8-11, 2009. Sponsored by the American Society for Healthcare Engineering and the American Hospital Association, the PDC Summit is an international exhibition on health facility planning, design, and construction. The summit’s Architecture for Health Showcase provides an opportunity for owners, designers, and construction firms to display recent healthcare projects on large design boards for view by thousands of summit attendees, including health care leaders and decision makers. After the summit, featured projects are printed in the 2009 ASHE Compendium of Architecture for Health.
