LEGACY MERIDIAN PARK HOSPITAL This two-operating room addition extended the
existing surgical clean core arrangement to incorporate the 4000 square foot
addition. Each room is over 520 square feet and consist of 4
ceiling-mounted articulating arms for monitoring equipment, utilities to allow
for maximum flexibility of patient positioning, a work counter and storage
cabinets, and is equipped for minimal invasive surgical (MIS) procedures. |

EISENHOWER MEDICAL CENTER The design team challenge was to create a
innovative operating room while maintaining the current operating room
capabilities during construction. The overall design is comprised of
10 operating rooms including two dedicated heart rooms and 2 dedicated orthopedic
rooms, 24 pre-operative / recovery positions, staff support spaces and offices.
Each operating room is equipped with 2 ceiling-mounted mobile equipment
management systems (booms) containing anesthetic gases, communication systems
and patient monitoring devices. |

DANBURY HOSPITAL Surgery Center Danbury, Connecticut This project consist of a one-story addition, on top of
an existing four-story hospital building adjacent to the main tower.
The expansion is juxtaposed adjacent to the existing inpatient surgery and
takes advantage of staffing efficiencies, equipment sharing and material
movement. The project includes six O.R.'s, three endoscopy suites, a
minor procedure room, staff facilities and twenty-four "Patient
Focused" pre-operative rooms. |
